This picture sums up the match very well: A tough battle over 90mins - we wanted to win, but at least 1 point against an always very difficult opponent.
We go again after the int. Vote for your tecnomobile shot of the match! Tough game. They started really well, made runs in behind.
After the penalty, we played much better and equalised. Tight game. Not many chances for both sides. And, yeah, one point.
We are waiting to discover the extent of the injury sustained by TrentAA today, but Jürgen Klopp confirmed he will miss the forthcoming England internationals.
One point is better than nothing in a tense game like this but definitely could have claimed more today. The result is maybe not good for us but good for them but we have to keep fighting to the end because there are a lot of games to play.
A tense encounter and the spoils are shared. We leave Manchester with a point. Brandon Williams Substitution Off. Mason Greenwood Substitution On.

Average household sizes in Manchester are declining Census data suggests the average household size in Manchester is declining. Liverpool, who surrendered a point lead to City last season, head into the international break sitting pretty at the top of the table, but they will know the job of bringing the Premier League title to Anfield is far from done with 26 games still left to play.
Subs: Jesus 6. Man of the match: Fabinho. In what was a blistering start to the game, City were adamant they should have had a penalty when the ball deflected off Bernardo Silva before hitting Alexander-Arnold's hand in the penalty area.
However, play continued when the referee waved away City's appeals and, 22 seconds later, Fabinho's thunderous strike beat Bravo to give the hosts the lead after a VAR check.
It proved costly as the hosts doubled their advantage seven minutes after their first. Alexander-Arnold started the attack with an inch-perfect cross-field pass to pick out fellow full-back Robertson, who in turn curled a beautiful cross into the path of Salah.
The Egyptian, who has now been directly involved in 52 goals in just 44 Premier League appearances at Anfield for Liverpool, made no mistake at the far post to send the home fans wild again.
City created opportunities as they looked for a way back into the game, but Alisson Becker denied Aguero before Angelino's shot was deflected onto the post.
Aguero then found himself one-on-one with Alisson after being released by De Bruyne, but the Argentine striker flashed a shot wide and striking another straight at the goalkeeper as City went into the interval down.
These days you can't just turn up in Liverpool or Manchester and expect to find somewhere affordable to stay! Due to various factors such as football matches, concerts and other events, people on shopping trips and stag and hen parties, plus the fact that it will be the run up to Christmas many people visit Liverpool and Manchester just for the Christmas Markets!
Look on www. Both cities are interesting for the visitor, and both have plenty of things to do. They aren't far apart so wherever you choose to stay it won't be too difficult to visit the other city.
I think either city could provide interest for a few days and could be combined with a day trip to the other and may be others to other places of interest - both are linked by rail to Chester which has already been mentioned.
As Matt has given the Liverpool one - this is the Manchester one:. There are direct trains that can take as little as 34 minutes between the two, so I hope whichever you stay in you'll visit the other, too.
Living equidistant between the 2 cities, we go to both regularly for days or nights out on the train and both have great pubs, shops, museums and restaurants but I would say that we find Liverpool a friendlier city - possibly the Scouse sense of humour?
I would stay in Liverpool and do a day trip to Manchester. Speaking as an effete southerner, I'd choose Liverpool , because of its grand architecture and superb situation on the Mersey I am, also from the South and therefore have no particular allegiance.James, Gary The result is maybe not good for us but good for them but we have to keep fighting to the end because there are a lot of games to play.
